Wildfires in California rages on as the death toll rises

As three wildfires continue to rage in California. Many are still evacuating and fleeing for their lives.

Some celebrities have even lost their home. CBS News reports “Actor Gerard Butler and Camille Grammer Meyer of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” are among the celebrities whose homes have been damaged or destroyed.””

California’s Governor has requested a “major disaster declaration” from the President.

Among the casualties from the wildfires include a 132-year old wooden bridge in Butte County. The bridge was known as the Honey Run Covered Bridge.

Two newspaper reporters are missing and the Los Angelos County Sherrif’s Office is investigating two other deaths. There are 31 people reported dead. CNN reports “At least 31 people have died in the fires: 29 in Northern California’s Camp fire and two in Southern California’s Woolsey fire.”
