The NWS in Indianapolis, IN says “1030 PM EST Mon Dec 31 2018 …A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following waterways in Indiana… East Fork White River…Mississinewa River…Wabash River…White River…Wildcat Creek…Youngs Creek… .Lowland flooding has developed or will develop along several creeks and rivers across central Indiana. Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding is due to one to two inches of rain that fell across the state Sunday and is expected to be brief along Wildcat Creek, Youngs Creek, and the Mississinewa River. Portions of the lower Wabash and White will be in flood through next week. Flooding will affect some local and state roads, agricultural land, and some river parks and/or cabins. Precautionary/Preparedness Actions… Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go another way. Keep children away from flooded areas.
