Strong winds to continue through this afternoon & evening

Strong winds are expected to continue this afternoon and into this evening. Weather stations across the state of Ohio have shown wind gusts getting up to and at times over 60 mph.

Strong winds will continue across the valley until about 3 AM tomorrow. Once we pass 3 AM tomorrow we will see winds begin to settle down some. Winds could still gust up to 40 mph at times throughout Monday morning.

Here are some important things to remember during high wind situations.

  1. Move any loose objects indoors or secure them outdoors.
  2. If you drive a high profile vehicle (Truck, Van, and Sports Utility Vehicle) be careful when driving. If you are pulling a trailer be cautious of the wind as well. Winds can flip trailers too.
  3. Prepare for possible power outages and possible damage to and/or around your property.

Remember, you can share photos and videos of wind damage here.
