Fire fighters in California are currently battling a wildfire in Sylmar, CA. The fire reportedly started as brush fire last night but has now apparently grown. According to ABC 7 in Los Angeles, the fire is covering more than 4,000 acres and the fire is 0% contained. Multiple freeways including the 405 have been shutdown in some locations as well. The Santa Ana winds are also reportedly fueling the fire. One person has unfortunately lost their life and there are evacuations underway. The NWS has issued flag warnings for this area.
