Storms explode in the northern Dallas metro area

Thunderstorms moved into the plains this evening. Thunderstorms exploded north of the Dallas, TX metro area, a confirmed tornado was on the ground north of Downtown Dallas this evening.

Here is a look at the storms that developed around the Dallas are this evening.

Here is a look at the tornado on the ground near Garland, TX.

The SPC has put out an enhanced risk for severe weather in this area. Tornado watches have also been issued in these areas through the overnight.
