Wintry precipitation expected today

Precip Type Map For Saturday, November 23, 2019

Rain will move into the area today between noon and 2 pm, but that will change over to a wintry mix for most as we head later into the afternoon and into the evening hours. A dusting of snow can not be ruled out with this system for most. Some could see a little higher snow accumulations around 1 inch.

Ice Chance Map For Saturday, November 23, 2019

With that wintry mix today, some freezing rain can not be ruled out. The chance is slim but I have most of the area under the possibility of seeing a little freezing rain. I’m not really expecting any freezing rain accumulation. Roads could become slick later tonight though from standing water freezing on roads when temps get around and/or drop below 32F.
