High Wind Warning for Wednesday, November 27, 2019

The National Weather Service has allowed this alert to expire.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH has issued a high wind warning. This high wind warning has been issued for Auglaize, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby counties in Ohio. Also for Wayne County in Indiana. The NWS in Wilmington, OH says,

"Wayne-Hardin-Mercer-Auglaize-Darke-Shelby-Logan-Miami-
Including the cities of Richmond, Kenton, Ada, Celina, Coldwater,
Wapakoneta, St. Marys, Greenville, Sidney, Bellefontaine, Troy,
Piqua, and Tipp City

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 9 PM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...In Indiana, Wayne County. In Ohio, Hardin, Mercer,
  Auglaize, Darke, Shelby, Logan and Miami Counties.

* WHEN...From 5 AM to 9 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

Attica, Covington, Veedersburg, Crawfordsville, Lebanon,
Zionsville, Tipton, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Anderson,
Muncie, Winchester, Clinton, Newport, Rockville, Greencastle,
Plainfield, Brownsburg, Danville, Indianapolis, Greenfield,
Cumberland, and New Castle

  west central Indiana.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 9 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Some power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds are expected to be strongest between
  7 AM and 2 PM EST.
