The Washington Post reports evacuations are underway to evacuate residents and refugees in refugee camps.

It is also being reported COVD-19 is complicating the evacuations.

Super Cyclone Amphan is a CAT 3 now but was a CAT 5 yesterday. The storms reportedly underwent rapid intensification on Sunday when it went from a CAT 1 to a CAT 5. The storms will likely make landfall as a CAT 1 or CAT 2 sometime this week bringing dangerous weather conditions to India and Bangladesh.

As for now, officials are going door to door and using loud speakers to tell people to evacuate.
