There is a marginal risk for severe weather today

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK has placed the portions of the Miami Valley in a marginal risk (1/5) for severe weather. This means any thunderstorms we see could be strong to severe at times.

Showers and storms are expected this afternoon and some could be a little strong at times. The best chance for showers and storms will be between 4 PM and 11 PM. We will see a cluster of showers and storms move into the area. The best chance to see showers and storms will be south of I-70.

Our main severe weather threats will be strong winds and some hail.
