Here is a look Jobo as it moves off to the northwest just north of the Mozambique Channel. The storm is still a tropical cyclone. Right now the storm has sustained winds around 50 mph or 45 kt and wind gusts up to 55 kt or a little above 60 mph.
The storm will continue to move off the northwest. The storm will also contrary to previously thought will remain a relatively weak tropical cyclone. The storm will continue to weaken as it moves towards Tanzania it does appear it will move onshore in Tanzania but at this time the storm is not a major concern. Rain likely and gusty winds are possible as the weak tropical cyclone moves onshore this weekend into next week.
