The heavy band of snow I have been talking about all day is finally moving into western parts of the area. This band of snow will lower visibilities for some. It could also produce whiteout/blizzard conditions for some as it brings strong winds to the area. Winds could gust up to 40 mph and higher at time. Rain/freezing rain/sleet will continue to move to the northeast out of the area.

Right now the band of snow is just now entering Richmond, IN. Portland, IN and Winchester, IN is also seeing snow from this band. If you do not have to be out on the roads do not go out.
