The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire Miami Valley under an enhanced risk for severe weather. This means that severe storms are likely today.
Showers this morning will sort of taper off as we head into the afternoon. More showers and storms will then begin to move into the western part of the area between 2 and 4 PM. Again these showers and storms will be severe. Showers and storms will continue to toward the Dayton metro area as we approach 6 PM. Showers and storms will taper off and move off to th east by 9 PM.
Here is what our threats look like. The chance of a tornado is at moderate, the threat of hail is low, damaging winds are at sitting at high and flooding is moderate.
