Not one, not two, but three tornadoes touched down in the valley this past weekend

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH has confirmed three EF1 tornadoes touched down in the area this past weekend. We saw thunderstorms this past Sunday and some of those storms had bowing segments that quickly produced some rotation.

The first confirmed tornado was northeast of Eaton, OH in Preble County. The NWS says its wind speeds topped off at 90 MPH, went 4.4 miles, and had a max path width of 150 yards. The second confirmed tornado was in West Alexandria, OH. This tornado wind speeds topped off at 95 MPH, went 7.6 miles, and had a path width of 120 yards. The third confirmed tornado was in Huber Heights, OH in Montgomery County. This tornado had wind speed of 95 MPH and went a mile. The path width of the tornado was 150 yards.

With all three tornadoes, there was tree and property damage. Thankfully no one was injured. With all three tornadoes combined the time frame of the event was from 8:39 PM to 9:24 PM.

The NWS says this information could change.
