There is a marginal risk for severe weather tomorrow and Wednesday

Last Updated 5 months ago by Devontae Jackson.

The SPC has most of the Miami Valley under a marginal risk (1/5) for severe weather. This means a few storms we see could be strong at times.

Remenants from Cristobal is expected to move into the area tomorrow afternoon. The rain chance is not real high but most of us will see some showers and storms Tuesday. Rain and storms will move from the southwest to the northeast. Our first band of rain looks to move into the southern and western parts of the area around 3 PM. Continue towards Dayton around by 4 PM and then move into eastern parts of the area by 5 PM.

The first band of rain should leave the area by 9 PM before some more light rain moves into the area. We should be done with all of the rain by 2 AM Wednesday morning. However, some lingering pockets of light rain is possible.

Looking at our severe weather threats for tomorrow. Winds look to be the biggest threat but a quick spin up tornado is also possible.

Remember, have a way to get warnings.

A marginal risk for severe weather is also in place for Wednesday. Mostly for areas I-70 and east.
