Here is a look at radar this afternoon. Rain continues to move into the area and some areas could be seeing some steadier pockets of rain.
The Storm Prediction Center once again has us in a marginal risk (1/5) for severe weather for today. That means a few storms could become strong at times.
Showers and embedded storms will continue this afternoon into the evening hours before tapering off. Again some storms could be strong at times. More rain is expected on Sunday, a rumble of thunder can not be ruled out.
Here is a look at our severe weather hazards for today. Damaging winds look to be the primary threat. However, a spin up of a tornado can not be ruled out and flooding is possible as well.
