The SPC has us in a marginal risk (1/5) for severe weather. This is on the lower end of the severe weather scale. However, this does mean a few storms could be strong to severe at times.
We will watch showers and storms move into the area this afternoon into the evening. Again, a few of these showers and storms could be strong to severe at times. Also, some of us could see some steady to heavy downpours at times.
Here is a look at the NAM 3K model, again showers and storms will continue into the evening, through the overnight hours. Precipitation will continue into Thursday and more storms will move into the area Thursday afternoon.
Any storms we see on Thursday could be strong to severe at times as well.
Here is a look at today’s and tonight’s severe weather threats. Our main threats will be hail, damaging winds, and some possible flooding.
