Strong Winds Expected Sunday, Winds Could Gust Near 40 mph (Saturday, October 27, 2018).png

Strong winds return to the area tomorrow. In the morning around 10 a.m. sustained winds will be around 10 mph with wind gusts up to 25 mph. Winds will gradually increase throughout the day. In the afternoon we will see sustained winds around 20 mph with wind gusts approaching 40 mph. Winds will then diminish after sunset but 30 to 35 mph wind gusts cannot be ruled. Sustained winds, however, will be between 10 and 20 mph. Make sure to secure loose items outdoors or move them inside if you can. Down tree limbs are possible and power outages cannot be ruled out. If you drive a high profile vehicle, you may feel the winds moving your vehicle.
