A cold front brings rain on Tuesday, April 23, 2019

We will stay mostly dry today but a few afternoon showers can not be ruled out. The better chance of rain comes tomorrow when a cold front moves through the area. Tuesday morning, areas I-70 and north will see some rain.

The rain the northern part of the Miami Valley will see will taper off as we head into the late morning hours, around 9 AM. That break won’t last long for some as isolated showers move back into the area after 9 AM.

The rain will continue southeast towards the Dayton metro area around 1 or 2 PM. As the front approaches the I-70 corridor, the rain will pick up in intensity and in coverage. Some rain could be a little steady at times. Rain will continue to move southeast before moving out of the area completely by 8 PM.
