The Apple Fire in California, which is a wildfire, has grown over 20,000 acres. According to the LA Times, the fire is 0% contained. The fire is burning in Riverside County in California and over 7,000 residents have been asked to evacuate.

An evacuation center has been opened up at a local area high school, the LA Times report, the staff at the evacuation center is trained to deal with COVID-19. It is also reported the American Red Cross booked hotel rooms for about 32 people.
The fire started on Friday and has been growing ever since thanks to breezy conditions. The fire has been pushing up hillsides in the area.
