As we head into the afternoon on Friday, the 18Z NAM 3K run shows 2000 J/Kg of CAPE in the 180 MB layer of the atmosphere. That will be conducive to produce some thunderstorms in the as rain continues into the area from the southwest. At this time it looks like the best chance of storms will be in the eastern part of the Miami Valley and more towards central Ohio.
