A low pressure will develop in the Central Plains bringing warmer air and rain to the Miami Valley. Above is a look at temperature anomalies showing we will be above average in temperatures at the end of the week.
Here is a look at our future temperatures as we head into the end of this week. We could make it into the 50 by Saturday afternoon.
However, don’t let the warmer temps on Saturday fool you, thanks to a cold front I will talk about below, temperatures will drop throughout the day on Sunday.
Again, a low pressure will develop in the Central Plains. A cold front will also develop and move across our area. We will have showers and a possible rumble of thunder move into the area late Friday into Saturday.
Here is a closer look at the rain that will move into the area late Friday into Saturday. The best chance of rain will be from late Friday night into Saturday. we will get a break in precipitation Saturday afternoon. However, more precipitation will move into the area from the west as we head into the evening. Now, precipitation will start off as rain but then as we head into Sunday and temperatures drop, rain could change over to some snow.
