Here is a look at radar this evening. Some precipitation what appears to be freezing rain and sleet is moving through the area. Now, looking at the sounding, it appears most of this precipitation is not making it to the ground because of some dry air right above the surface.

As we head into tomorrow afternoon, showers will move into the area. Rain will continue into the evening and could change over to a little snow or a wintry mix briefly. Rain and snow look to taper off Thursday morning. Contrary to what models showed a couple of days ago, now it looks like will get a break from the rain until Friday morning when a wintry mix will move into the area changing over to all rain by late morning. Showers will continue into the afternoon.

What could get a break in the rain Friday afternoon. Before some more rain moves into the area Friday evening. From there into Saturday morning some scattered rain and snow showers are possible.

By Saturday morning an inch to an inch and a half of rain is possible.

Another thing to watch for tomorrow will be gusty winds. Winds could gust up to 40 mph tomorrow and don’t be surprised if some of you start to approach 50 mph wind gusts. However, most of us will stay around the 40 mph range.
