The NWS has issued a winter weather advisory for Butler, Clinton, Greene, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren counties in Ohio. The NWS in Wilmington, OH says, “617 PM EST Sun Jan 24 2021

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT…
…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 1 PM
EST MONDAY…

  • WHAT…For the first Winter Weather Advisory, freezing drizzle
    continuing. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, mixed
    precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one
    inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
  • WHERE…Portions of Central, South Central, Southwest and West
    Central Ohio.
  • WHEN…For the first Winter Weather Advisory, until midnight
    EST tonight. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, from 7 AM
    to 1 PM EST Monday.
  • IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions this evening and
    again on Monday morning. The hazardous conditions could impact
    the evening commute tonight and the morning commute Monday.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Freezing mist and drizzle this evening will
    gradually subside past midnight. Wintry precipitation Monday
    morning will eventually change to rain as temperatures slowly
    rise during the afternoon.
