In comes the frozen tundra

Last Updated 3 weeks ago by Devontae Jackson.

Cooler temps will move into the Miami Valley as we head into this weekend and into next week. The GFS has temps falling into the 20s, teens, and single digits by this weekend. The CPC has us in a 70% to 80% chance to see below-average temps.

Here is a look at the GFS model, temperatures this weekend will fall into 20s and teens Saturday. The teens and the single digits Sunday. Especially as we head into Sunday night and Monday. Looking at winds chills values Monday morning, we could feel like 20 degrees below zero. We will be cold all through next week and regular air temps could be near or below zero by the 2nd half of next week. All of this thanks to polar air coming down from Canada.
