As the low pressure bringing us showers and storms today move through the area later tonight. It will bring strong gusty winds through the overnight hours. Wind gusts around 60 to possibly 70 mph are expected.
Widespread power outages are expected as we head through the overnight. Also, rain this afternoon and evening will loosen the ground and thus cause trees to fall. Secure loose objects outside or move them indoors. Be careful if you drive a high profile vehicle like a truck, SUV, or van. Prepare for possible damage to your property.
