The Storm Prediction Center has us in a slight risk (2/5) for severe weather today. This means a few storms could become strong to severe at times.
Here is a look at satellite and radar this afternoon. Showers and embedded storms are already moving through the area. However, another line of showers and storms are developing back to our west. Those will push ENE throughout the day.
As we head later into the afternoon and evening hours. That second line of showers and storms will move through the area. Best timing appears to be between 4 PM to midnight.
Here is a look at our severe weather hazards for this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds appear to be the biggest threat at this time.
