Make sure to catch the Pink Moon tonight

Last Updated 2 weeks ago by Devontae Jackson.

Tonight (April 26) the Pink Moon will be in its…fullness…around 11:32 PM. The moon won’t actually be Pink but it will be a full moon. The moon gets its name from the herb Pink Moss also known as creepy phlox. The moon will be over 220,000 miles away from Earth. The moon will actually appear for a couple more nights but tonight it is expected to be closest to Earth. This is actually one of two full moons this year.

Looking at could cover for tonight, we have a few clouds over the area right now and I think most of us will get a chance to see the full moon.

The next full moon is expected on May 26, 2021.
