As of the 9 PM CST update from the NHC, forecasters there say Eta is a tropical depression with sustained winds up to 35 mph. Pressure is up to 1003 MB and the storm is moving WNW at 7 MPH. The storm is currently over Honduras where it is dumping heavy rain.
The NHC forecasts for the storm to move over the Caribbean Sea and become a tropical storm once again. From there it will make a turn to the north affecting Cuba. The storm will continue into the Gulf of Mexico where the storm could over the Florida Keys side swipe the western side Florida.
