Here is a look at winds in Chanale this evening (Mozambique time). Winds are sustained around 60 mph near the center of the storm. Some models have the storm moving just a little north of Beira, Mozambique at landfall. Nonetheless, Beira will feel the impacts from this storm.

Heavy rain, strong winds, flooding, and storm surge are all possible when the storm makes landfall in central Mozambique. The storm will weaken substantially before moving into Zimbabwe. However, if you live in Zimbabwe some steady to heavy rain and gusty winds are possible from central to northern Zimbabwe. Make sure to listen to local officials.
