The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH has issued a winter storm warning. This winter storm warning has been issued for Auglaize and Mercer counties in Ohio.

The NWS in Wilmington, OH says “1133 AM EST Sat Jan 19 2019 …WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST SUNDAY… * WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE…Mercer, Auglaize and Hardin Counties. * WHEN…Until 4 AM EST Sunday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult, especially by late this afternoon into the overnight hours. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
