The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH has issued a winter storm warning. This winter storm warning has been issued for Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Logan, Miami, and Shelby counties in Ohio and Wayne County in Indiana.

The NWS in Wilmington, OH has says “1129 AM EST Fri Jan 18 2019 …WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM SATURDAY TO 4 AM EST SUNDAY… * WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch are expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE…Portions of East Central Indiana and Central and West Central Ohio. * WHEN…From 4 AM Saturday to 4 AM EST Sunday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Adverse travel conditions will significantly inhibit if not curtail transportation in the warning area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
