The NWS in Wilmington, OH says “512 PM EST Mon Jan 28 2019 …WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST TUESDAY… …WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST WEDNESDAY… * WHAT…Snow and very cold wind chills expected. Rain changing to snow tonight. Rapidly falling temperatures will create flash freeze conditions. Total snow accumulations of up to one half inch expected. Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chill as low as 20 below zero. Winds gusting as high as 25 mph. * WHERE…Portions of Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio. * WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Tuesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 7 AM to 7 PM EST Wednesday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Winter Weather Advisory means that travel difficulties may develop.
