The National Weather Service has allowed this alert to expire.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH has issued a flood watch. This flood watch has been issued for Champaign and Miami counties in Ohio.

The NWS in Wilmington, OH says “…FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON…
The National Weather Service in Wilmington has expanded the

  • Flood Watch to include portions of Central Ohio and West
    Central Ohio, including the following areas, in Central Ohio,
    Delaware, Franklin OH, Licking, Madison, and Union OH. In West
    Central Ohio, Champaign, Clark, and Miami.
  • From Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon
  • A stalled frontal boundary will result in a prolonged period of
    precipitation with a storm total rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches
    through Tuesday afternoon.
  • With saturated ground, rivers and streams still in flood or
    running high, this additional rainfall will likely lead to
    flooding.”
