A high wind watch has been issued through Sunday evening

High Wind Watch Until 10 PM Sunday, February 24, 2019

The National Weather Service has allowed this alert to expire.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch for Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties in Ohio. Jay, Randolph and Wayne counties in Indiana. This high wind watch is valid from Sunday morning until 10 PM Sunday night.

The NWS says sustained winds are expected to be between 20 and 30 mph. Winds could gust up to 40, 50, and even 60 mph. The NWS says to secure lightweight objects outside, power outages are possible, and be careful if yo drive a high profile vehicle.
