The NWS has issued a winter storm warning for Auglaize, Darke, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby counties in Ohio. The NWS in Wilmington, OH says, “1207 PM EST Sat Jan 30 2021

…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY…

  • WHAT…Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5
    to 7 inches.
  • WHERE…Portions of Central and West Central Ohio.
  • WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Sunday.
  • IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

AFTERNOON TO 4 PM EST SUNDAY…

  • WHAT…Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4
    to 6 inches.
  • WHERE…Portions of central, east central, north central and
    west central Indiana.
  • WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM EST Sunday.
  • IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest snow is expected to fall from
    6 PM to 1 AM. Some melting may occur by Sunday which will limit
    the overall snow depth at any given time.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
