Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…Illinois…

Youngs Creek at Amity affecting Johnson County.

East Fork White River at Williams affecting Martin and Lawrence

East Fork White River near Rivervale affecting Martin and
Lawrence Counties.

White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant affecting Owen, Morgan
and Monroe Counties.

White River near Centerton affecting Owen, Morgan and Monroe

Mississinewa River near Ridgeville affecting Delaware and
Randolph Counties.

Wildcat Creek near Lafayette affecting Tippecanoe County.

Wabash River at Clinton affecting Parke, Vigo and Vermillion

Wabash River at Vincennes affecting Wabash, Knox and Lawrence

Wabash River at Mount Carmel affecting Edwards, Posey, Wabash,
White, Gibson, Knox and Gallatin Counties.

.Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches will result in minor flooding along area
rivers starting today and tonight, continuing through next week and
beyond depending on the location. Flooding will last the longest over
southwestern parts of the Wabash and White rivers.


Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

  • Flood Warning for
    the Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
  • From this afternoon to Monday evening.
  • At 3:00 PM EST Sunday the stage was 11.4 feet.
  • Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  • Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
  • Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
    at 3:00 PM EST Sunday was 11.4 feet.
  • Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
    tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 9.6 feet tomorrow
  • Impact…At 11.5 feet, Water on the shoulder and edge of SR 1
    south of the junction with SR 28 in western Randolph County.
  • Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9
    feet on 09/09/2018.
