Tropical cyclone Jobo will move just north of the Mozambique Channel and towards Africa

Here is a look at Jobo from yesterday over the Indian Ocean and north of Madagascar. The storm is a tropical cyclone with sustained of about 52 mph and wind gusts close to about 60 mph. The storm is moving generally west at about 9 mph.

The storm will continue to move generally west and could get close to or become a typhoon as it moves north of the Mozambique Channel. The storm will weaken some as it moves towards northern Mozambique and Tanzania. The storm could make landfall in Tanzania.
