So will we have a white Christmas?

Probability of Snow For Tuesday, December 25, 2018

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone! Tracking our chances for snow this Tuesday and our best chance of snow looks to be around noon today.

Snow will start this morning around 8 AM. Snow will come in from the west and as it does it will pick up in coverage and intensity. When snow first arrives in the area it will be kind of central based on the counties I cover. So places like Richmond, IN and Dayton, OH has the best chance to see the snow first.

Snow will continue into the late morning and early afternoon hours. Snow will really pick up in intensity and in coverage around noon. The snow will then change over to a wintry mix.

Chance of a White Christmas As of Tuesday, December 25, 2018

Now, even though we will see snow fall, that doesn’t mean the snow will stick. Looking at the latest model runs, it shows some possible snow sticking but, nothing big. Also, everyone may not see the snow today. With all this taken into consideration. Our chance of a white Christmas is at possible still. So it hasn’t changed since my last white Christmas chance forecast update.
