If you read tonight’s forecast. You know I talked about the chance of us seeing a few snowflakes before more accumulating snow arrives Thursday morning. Snow will arrive in the western part of the area by 6 AM Thursday morning. Temperatures will also be in the upper 20s to the lower 30s. So some rain may mix in with the snow early on in the morning. Snow will pick up in coverage and intesity throughout the morning.

As we head into the afternoon snow will continue to fall, but rain will begin to take over. Temperatures will rise into the low to mid 30s by the afternoon so snow will eventually change over to rain. As the snow changes over to rain, we could see some possible freezing rain or sleet at times. A lot of freezing rain and sleet is not expected and everyone will not see freezing rain or sleet.
