Snow and rain will move into the area starting Saturday morning. Some of the rain and snow could be steady to heavy at times. Areas that are in pink on the map (rain and snow mix) could see freezing rain and sleet.
The snow, rain, freezing rain, and sleet will continue into Saturday afternoon. We will slowly begin to transition to just snow by Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Snow will taper by late Sunday morning into the afternoon.

How much snow could we see? Well the newest forecast model runs have snow accumulations different from earlier. Models are also not really in agreement at the moment. So we will at least see 2 inches of snow. The area will most likely see between 3 and 4 inches of snow. The area could see at most 4 plus inches of snow. I have another update for you on snow accumulations later today. Especially since models are not in agreement at the moment.

Models are a little more in agreement about ice accumulations. Now those in the light pink color on the map above could see between 0.10” to 0.50” of ice accumulation. It just depends on where the freezing rain and sleet sets up. The freezing rain and sleet aspect of this forecast will also need another update later today.
