Life-threatening cold air expected Wednesday into Thursday

Temperature – 7 AM 1-30-19

If you have to go out tomorrow morning. You are going to want to wish you never left the bed. Temperatures at 7 AM tomorrow will be anywhere from 0 to -14 degrees outside.

Wind Chill – 7 AM 1-30-19

Wind chills at 7 AM tomorrow morning will be very cold as well. If you have to be out you will not want to be out long. Wind chill values will range from -20 to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Frost bite and hypothermia could set in within 5 minutes.

Temperature – 12 PM 1-30-19

Temperatures will get slightly warmer by noon on Wednesday. Temperatures will be between 0 and -10 degrees.

Wind Chill – 12 PM 1-30-19

Winds chills will still be between -20 and -40 degrees. Again limit your time outside and cover yourself up in layers. As I stated earlier, frostbite and hypothermia could set in within 5 minutes.

Temperature – 7 PM 1-30-19

Temperatures will continue to rise a little more by 7 PM tomorrow. Temperatures will be just below zero degrees in some places. Ultimately temperatures will be between 0 and -10 degrees.

Wind Chill – 7 PM 1-30-19

Wind chill values will also fall, just a little by 7 PM. Wind chill values will be between -20 and -30 degrees. Frostbite/hypothermia could set in within 5 to 10 minutes. It’s still important you limit your time outside and bundle up in layers.

Temperature – 12 AM 1-31-19

Temperatures will begin to fall again as we head towards midnight Thursday. Temperatures will range between 0 and -11 degrees.

Wind Chill – 12 AM 1-31-19

Wind chills will also begin to fall again as we head towards midnight Thursday. Wind chill values will be between -20 and -35. Again, don’t dress to be cute, dress for the weather. Frostbite and hypothermia could set in between 5 to 10 minutes.

Temperature – 7 AM 1-30-19

As we approach 7 AM Thursday, cold, cold air will still be dominating the area. Temperatures will range between 0 and -13 degrees.

Wind Chill – 7 AM 1-31-19

By 7 AM wind chill values could fall slightly but not to the point you won’t notice it. Wind chill values will still be between -20 and -30. Again, as I keep saying, frostbite and hypothermia could set in between 5 to 10 minutes.

Temperature – 12 PM 1-31-19

Temperatures finally get above zero degrees by noon on Thursday. Still dress for the weather.

Wind Chill – 12 PM 1-31-19

Wind chill values will also continue to come down. Wind chill values will be between 0 and -20. Frostbite and hypothermia could set in around 10 minutes. Regular air temperatures will gradually climb a little more throughout the day. By Thursday evening wind chill values should be back above zero.
