Snow expected Thursday night into Friday. How much could we see?

Future Radar 11 PM 1-31-19

After this cold air, we will have to deal with some snow. It could start as rain Thursday evening. Then snow will follow the rain into the overnight hours.

Future Radar 4 AM 2-1-19

As stated earlier, some rain is possible before snow moves into the area. Then, snow will move into the area overnight Thursday into Friday morning. The model you see above is the NAM model at 4 AM Friday.

Future Radar 8 AM 2-1-19

Snow will continue into the morning rush hour. Snow will begin to taper off around 8 AM Friday though.

Future Radar 12 PM 2-1-19

As we head towards the noon hour on Friday. Snow will move off to our east. A few lingering flurries can be ruled out east of I-75 though.

Snow Accumulations By Friday, February 1, 2018

So let’s talk snow accumulations. We will see at least 1 inch of snow, we will mostly likely see 3 to 4 inches of snow, and we will see at most 5 inches of snow.

Snow Depth 1 PM 2-1-19

The heaviest of snow looks to fall north of I-70. Snow accumulations slowly begin to drop off the more south of I-70 you go.
