There are a couple of chances for snow this coming week. The first chance of snow will be Monday. The best chance to see it will be Monday morning south of I-70. However, a few isolated flurries can not be ruled out north of I-70 Monday. Those south of I-70 will not only see some possible snow, but rain is possible as well. Driven by a low pressure, rain and snow will exit the area by the afternoon. No snow accumulations expected.
Our second chance for snow will be in the middle of the week. Wednesday morning snow driven by another low pressure will move into the area. Now, the NAM model has snow at first looking a little steady at first and then becoming more light overtime.
Going past 7 AM Wednesday, snow looks to continue into the early afternoon before tapering off late afternoon into the early evening. Snow totals right now look to be between 1 and 2 inches. This forecast could change though so stay with GDwxpost for the latest.
