A low-pressure system will move into the area late Saturday into Sunday. We will have snow to start off with or a wintry mix that will change over to snow. As we progress through early Sunday morning, snow will become widespread. Some snow could be steady to heavy at times. Warm air will move into the area as we head into late morning Sunday. That will cause a rain/snow line to develop near the I-70 corridor with snow north and rain south. It will stay like that for a while before cooler temps move back south from the north and changing the rain over to snow Sunday evening. Lingering snow is possible into Monday.
